Join our Fellowship Program

The 280 Project Viticulture Fellowship Program is a 6 month paid, hands-on program, in partnership with Steve Matthiasson and UC Davis, that teaches “everything from the vine up,” and is open to all but specifically focused on providing resources, experience, and opportunities to marginalized, underrepresented communities excluded from the wine industry.

At the close of the apprenticeship, all participants that complete the program will be prepared to seek employment opportunities in the wine industry.

All individuals that identify with groups historically excluded from the wine industry, including LGBTQ and BIPOC but not limited to American-Indian/Alaskan Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Asian, individuals with disabilities, and veterans are encouraged to apply. Learn more about the fellowship program by checking out the application form. See link to the application below.
