Building community, from the vine up.

The Two Eighty Project

We envision a world where every member of San Francisco can reach their full potential — by participating in local viticulture and building sustainable lifestyles through it. Together, we’re revitalizing the city as a diverse and equitable epicenter for locally-grown food, wine, and culture — and inviting everyone to contribute to lifting their community.

Our Priorities

Reclamation

The Two Eighty Project repurposes land for sustainable, urban viticulture and agriculture — creating space for every member of San Francisco to learn, participate, and come together.

Connection

Drawing from our origins in food, wine, and horticulture, Two Eighty forges partnerships with individuals and organizations working on everything “from the vine up” — sharing knowledge, resources, and meals to build community across all neighborhoods, backgrounds, and fields.

Empowerment

At Two Eighty, we’re empowering anyone and everyone to learn how to make, manage, teach, and sell wine — transforming students into teachers and apprentices into employers. We’re providing a program that offers paid, hands-on career and community-building opportunities across all areas of viticulture and enology.

Support Our Cause

Make A Donation.

With your support, The Two Eighty Project will provide education training, resources for Viticulture apprentices to prepare for job opportunities and careers as future winemakers. As the saying goes: many hands make the work light. Together we can make an impact to diversify the Wine industry and provide educational and financial opportunities for tomorrow's wine makers.
